I'm using an NFT setup. It is a tank which contains the solution and and tray above it in which my plants set in rockwool are in. I'm using a water pump which is constantly on. This pumps water from the tank into the tray. The solution drips off the end of the tray back into the tank.
I was thinking about putting the pumps on a timer so that the solution fills the tray with the roots at intervals. No off that long that the roots would dry out. But long enough for the absorbtion of O2 to be improved. Any recommendations?
