Using Cal Mag

Hey all,
anyone experienced with this stuff, do you add it on top of your usual ppm's or is it used to make up your total ppm's, instructions say to use 5 to 10ml per gallon shit, if I was to do that it wouldn't leave much room for nutes, this stuff ppm's pretty high,this is going to be used in a 4 bucket dwc connected to a 10gl res,,,,,,,,thanks for any info

Used to make up your total ppm, If your plants cant take adding the cal mag just ease into it. Start with 1/4 if you have to, but continue with your other nutes as normal until you can add the appropriate amount of cal mag.

What cal mag are you using?

I run about 1.5ml per with tap water but if running ro you will need more.

Botanicare, I'm trying to stop some rust spots that are popping up on a strain of Morning Glory, my tapwater ppm's @ .08 and I thought it might help I figure it cant hurt, I ended up mixin @ 1ml per, maybe it will help,,,out of 4 strains all connected its the only one getting these rust spots, it is also the fastest growin plant in the mix,,,,,,,,,Thanks much for the help.

i run 1ml/gallon week 4-6 only.
