using garbage bags to force outdoor 12/12

let's say i want to force outdoor plants to enter the flowering stage with a 12/12 light cycle- what's the easiest way to do that outside?

i've heard you can use triple-layer black garbage bags over the plants for 12 hours every day for a week or two to achieve this, but i'm worried about moisture getting trapped inside plus lack of fresh air making mold. anyone tried it? any other, better ways?

i was thinking bout that aswell..
if u put a thin wooden frame on the bags then it wont be on the plant u know.. and maybe some black tights down by the botton for ventilation..
what strain u want to force flower?

What's crackin' ease8? Well i live and grow in Cali my damn self and i grow indoor and outdoor, but mostly outdoors! To hopefully answer your question on how to flower outside is that i've made a 3'ft high polyehtelene frame that i use to cover mine when i want to flower. If you don't have that and they aren't too tall use a rubber trash can,but do not DO NOT use black garbage bags to force flower!!

depends on the plant and the natural light cycles

most plants, late enough in the year (end of summer), should stay flowering once forced for a couple weeks

Dude... i move mine indoors around 5:30 or 6 pm... and take it back out when it gets dark.... I am able to move freely around my house with them since i grow for medicine and the entire family understands that... but if you cant do that and you must cover them... i would agree with the poly enclosure .... make sure you take the damn thing off after its dark so they can get fresh air and such... I wonder if 3 or 4 hrs a day without good air would do anything bad.... it has to be air tight so its light tight ....good one... maybe just build yourself a shed out back and grow them in 5 gallon buckets that you can move with a dolly ... my friends dad used to do this ....

Im in southern va myself,i just started the forced 12/12 with a black garbage bag,but the the plant is so tall that doing this is makin the top bend, Is this a problem i should worry about?I am also worried about mold because its extremely humid here.Do I have 2 seal every bit of light out or can I leave some of the main stem exposed? How long till I should expect 2 c the start of buds?

shade will also force some plants into flowering, especially those strains from northern latitudes, Sweeden, norway ect.

i hear of people using garbage bags to flower on the website before, just make sure its covered up well, and remember to be consestant.
now if you want to be stealthy, this isnt the thing.
you could always use your closet also!
put your plant indoor around 6pm and take them out again when its dark! or you can bring it in or out from 7pm to 7am?
