Using Optic Foliar Switch to speed up flower and possibly harvest early

So I live in Colorado and unfortunately winter likes to show its face in late September to October. Covering my plants with a tarp every evening to induce early flowering is not an option. So I got to thinking about spraying optic Foliar switch as soon as I see the plant beginning to transition to flower. For anyone that doesn't know what switch is, it is sprayed to prevent hermies. It also seems to speed up the transition from veg to flower. I was thinking if I spray it on my outdoors that it could possibly shave off 2 or 3 weeks of the final harvest date. Any thoughts from those that have used optic Foliar switch?
