Using Pulse Pro for the first time. Opinions welcome to optimize VPD

I got my Pulse Pro working and the numbers suck. My temps are averaging 83 to 85 F and my RH is about 38 to 42%. Not good if I want perfection.

I have four 4 x 4 tents in a 15 x 12 room. How can I get the RH up another 20% to reach decent VPD levels? Will a humidifier in the middle of the room work?

Yes but more likely at the entrance to the room assuming you have fresh air coming in. The whole room needs to be even so you need circulation in the room, outside the tents. Will work great. You may need 2 for that room, 2 spread out may work better than a big one.

last summer my tent was at 29 to 31c regularly way above ideal, and the humidity was hovering around 65-70%. Using a dehumidifier was not an option because it would have increased temps more so i moved the grow outside to indirect light. Humidity was still in the 60's but the temp was only like mid 20's and they recovered in 2 weeks even at higher than ideal humidity. Like a month later they came back inside and ended up as 510grams of buds in a bag from a 450watt LED even after the VPD problem. Now I just close my grow in the summer because its always a fight.

4 tents inside that size room should be making a ton of humidity. Unless plants are small and havent filled up the space yet. If plants are large then your intake air is extremely dry and consider yourself lucky.

After some reading up on how to place the Pulse Pro I have better news. I had the meter on top of the canopy facing the light (horizontally). The website warns you not to place it there unless getting a PPFD reading. Otherwise, they said to hang it vertically just below the canopy for temp and RH readings.

Once I did that my temps dropped and the RH went way up. My new VPD readings are averaging 1.4 to 1.6. Much better and more on line to what I thought they would be. I guess I'll get a few cheap hygrometers and place them in the tents to keep my VPD in line. I'll use the meter for PPFD readings only.

Only con about the Pulse Pro is it cost so much for basically adding PPFD and Co2 readings to a hygrometer. Still a great device tho and helps a noob like me get going. Must be even better for people with smart phones.

What is the co2 reading at?

Just checked stats again. I watered them 2 hours ago. They were pretty dry. Now The temps are between 77 to 80 with RH climbing slowly @ 52.8%.

My VPD now = 1.3kPa

Wow pretty much right where it needs to be. How lucky can a guy get on his first LED flower grow :eyesmoke:
