using super soil with auto flowers

curious to whether there is a different recipe or will the same one work.. since auto flower takes less time will there be a lot of left over nutes left in the soil

OK...let me give you what I have learned. I thought I would be smart and try supersoil in the bottom of my 1 gallon pots where I planted regular blueberry clones. Just to see if I could get them rooted and growing in the supersoil ahead of the 5 gallon pots where they will eventually be. Short story here was the plants did grow roots down the side of the pots to the bottom but they did not want to grow into the hot soil......so I take away from this.......always completly grow clones in my gallon pots with just regular soil. Get the roots established but not root bound.....then transplant into the big pots with supersoil. Soooooo.......I dont think its a good idea to try to do autoflowers ( arent they a 45 day plant start to finish) in supersoil. You may get away with a handfull of supersoil mixed into a 3 gallon pot of regelar soil. If it were me....I think I would use synthetic nutes. Dont get me wrong...I enjoy doing my organic garden but the small ones sound like they would do good with synthetic nutes. You could just try organic....I will bet that someone here will chime in with their organic auto plants advice.

My friend has used organics with autoflowerings. He made his own supersoil recipe, but used less fertilizer for the autoflowerings, but still amended the soil. Also used compost tea once a week.
