Hi all.
I recently purchased a 32-bulb setup (4' 8 bulb fixtures) T5 system from HTGSupply (bought their brand since they use high quality components and the 5 year fixture/ballast warranty is unbeatable...not even by Tek lights) and I also have a 600w lumatek HPS setup as well.
I really want to try and use my T5s first for a full grow...veg through flowering because I haven't really figured out what I'm going to do in terms of venting all the heat from the HPS just yet.
I have both grow (6500k) and 3000k (bloom) bulbs and the entire T5 fixture will put out around 80,000 lumens.
I guess what I'm trying to say is this: While these are very good for vegging, and even though I have the right HPS setup to use when I go into flowering, could I still get good yield from plants grown under 80,000 lumens of T5, flowering spectrum light?
