Using The stream to feed my plants water bad or good

I bought some Northen Lights seeds.... Once they showed they were female and were big anuff to be put out side.... I took a 5 gallon bucket and drilled 5 holes on the bottom and 7 at the base of the bucket so water could flow freely.... Note: I only filled the bucket about 3/4 of the way up with pro mix and dirt from the stream bed....I did that for each plant..... The plants r placed in the stream with is 3 inchs to a half an inch in places......Now i am just letting water flow threw the bottom of the bucket and out the other side. I'll post pic later.... But my plants seem to love it.

yep they sure will.. what do you think the mexican gurilla growers use. they run plastic water line from any river or stream to water all there plants.. there are probably more trace elements in that water then anything else,BUT it only takes one teaspoon of oil to contaminate a pool full of water so you might want to think about where its coming from.. also floods are a factor,,wfter a good rain you will be picking up run off from roads and street trash flowing into the streams so just keep an eye out but grow my brother grow.

The stream leads to a swamp and the swamp is a the bass of the mountain.... so all the water comes from the mountain and the swamp.... there r no roads any ware near ware i am growing.... I have to walk a good 10 mins and another good 10 to get back out... I check up on them 1-2 times a week... Oh floods... I rained for 4 day straight... i went to go see all my plants in the stream the water was high like half way up the buckets when before the stream was only an inch to 3 inches be for.... plus i dug some draining spots... to let the water run off.
