using turkey bags good or necessary for drying?

has anyone ever heard of this?

a buddy of mine said it was good to let the buds hang for 2 days then keeo em in a turkey bag for about 12 hours n then back to hang for 24hours and repeat 12-24-etc...

I've heard using a large paper bag to do much the same thing. It lead to a more uniform dryness.

Ive only used turkey bags for vaporizers...

Ps, if u made it this far. Dont cheap out, get jars..

Nothing cheap about turkey bags. They are litteraly air tight. Once dried you can cure in a turkey bag fine. I have some stuff from Thankgiving in a turkey bag. Just opened it to break off an O to my buddy. It's super fresh.

Jars work great but the industry tends to use turkey bags cause of their light weight and ability to seal almost perfectly. With a 69-72% humidipak I can store herb for many months no problem.

Turkey bags are great for storage and transportation (no smell). I wouldn't wast the money for just curing.

i would use jars if its just a personal stash, but if you are on a perpetual cycle and going thru so much and dont want to take the time to jar then its ok to use the oven bags
