Hey Everyone,

I recently purchased an Extreme vaporizer and can't get enough of it. I haven't smoke from my bong yet do to a slight cold, but tried smoking out of a glass pipe. I must say that will be the last time that I smoke out of a pipe. It didn't even taste like MJ. I tried a second bowl and got through one toke.

I just put a new diffuser in my bong and haven't been able to try it out yet. I really love my bong and hope I don't feel the same way as after smoking the pipe.

So my question. What do you prefer: Vapour or Combustion?

I'm going with vapour.

Ive owned a volcano for years and now own a Silver Surfer .. and I still prefer smoking to vaping anytime! Smoking hands down! I like to vape once in awhile to get a different take on the taste of my herb, or if I have people coming over and I dont want my house to reek like smoke... otherwise I always smoke

that's pretty good, my bong stinks a lot it really annoys me because I smoke straight up dank out of it.

I haven't tried cleaning it with just hot water, that might be good in-between my alcohol cleanings :).

I have the same vape and it's much better than smoking. One of the benefits is that I don't get a hacking cough in the morning.

I clean my bong and bubbler every day. if I dont its nasty. I just pour in a little rubbing alcohol, a little salt, shake vigorously for 1 minute and its sparkling clean!

I like to feel retarded and I love the itch in my throat. Smoking is the way for me. When I suck in the smoke and cough then I know something good is gonna happen. :)

Several years back I read an article where tests had been done to see what method of smoking got the highest percentage of THC from the pot and into the person. A joint was the most efficient for transferring THC though it did waste some pot due to the continual burning. A standard pipe was second best and a bong and vaporizer pretty close to being tied for last. When hot/warm smoke hits bong water it cools and it traps some of the burned resin/THC so it never makes it into your body. Several big name brand vaporizers were tested and most of them did not achieve a high enough temperature to fully release all the THC in the pot.

Personally I was always a bong man myself and always got high as heck but evidently tests have proven that it is not a highly efficient way to transfer THC into your lungs/body and the same goes for vaporizers.

The good old fashioned tried and true joint was the most efficient in transferring THC in that it not only burned hot enough to fully release all the THC in the pot but also the only filtering that was done was the pot and paper still between the burning part and your lips and anything trapped there would burn later when the burning tip got to it and you would then suck it in.

It did not go into detail as in what percentage more or less the different ways of smoking transferred THC so maybe the actual differences were minimal and with many people able to smoke such high grade/high THC pot what little is lost in some less efficient ways of smoking is not significant and easily made up with one more hit or maybe two so it really is no big deal. But those were the basic results of what was found when the different ways of smoking pot were tested.

Its funny I have been smoking herb for at least 20 years daily and Im just not into joints. My dad is. I will roll huge spliffs to sneak into concerts or places where I dont want a glass piece in my pocket.. But, Im a glass pipe man. And, I was always a bong guy too but now I use a double chamber foot tall standup sherlock bubbler. I just love the pure taste of herb smoked out of glass....The taste is just so pure. Even with the best connosiuer papers I still taste the paper.
