Whats Up guys Im beginning this in true stoner fashion LATE! lol Im actually 4 weeks into flower on some but Ill do my best to get you caught up quick and if anyone shows any interest ill post pics sooner than later. Anyways heres how my set-up is for veg:
2 4 foot t-12 with 40 watt full spectrum bulbs
1 3 foot t-5 from Home depot just and added fluoro for supplement lighting
I have these lights hanging in my pitbulls old pen/cage gives me a veg ceiling with 12 inch pot to 18 inch plants so its perfect for what I got going.
Im using Fox Farms ocean Forest soil and the fox farms Trio Nutes for the entirety of their lives Grow Big for veg and tiger bloom and big bloom for flower.
Im using 2 gallon pots I know they should be bigger but i have been successful with these in the past.
Now for the fun part STRAINS:
Pure Power Plant (Sativa)
Chocolope(Sativa)
G-13(Sativa)
Oaksterdam genetics Bubba Kush(Indica Dominant Hybrid)
Subcool Bubblegum(Hybrid)
Matunuska Valley Thunderfuck(Alaskan Hybrid)
I also sprouted a seed that I found in a bag of decent outdoor Hashplant(Indica) from a local dispensary so we named her Hash Whore since we dont know who pollenated her lol.
I lightly sprayed a paper towel with a water and superthrive Combo to germinate the seed. She opened in less than 24 hours and was in dirt in a 4 inch pot within 36 hours.
My plan on this run is to increase my harvest size compared to my last grow. On my last I vegged all clones to be 12 inches tall and finished with just under an ounce per plant this time id like a little more bang for my buck so im vegging them all to be 18 inches before I flip the lights to 12/12. I am hoping these extra nodes from the longer veg time will double my harvest weight. Plus the gains in root mass must be considerable. So I vegged them for approximately 4 1/2 weeks to reach the desired heighth that i was looking for. I then trimmed off the bottom 5 or 6 branches on the clones to leave 10 to 12 branches and it opens up the soil and eliminates most of the bottom unfinished buds on the plant hopefully.(anyone else do this?) After their trim up I move them into the closet i set up for flower:
400 watt hps with econowing reflector with 6 inch clip fan attached blowing directly on the bulb to help lower plant approximately 6 inches closer to the tops.
1 120 watt philips agro-lite plant light (pointing at top of g-13 currently)
2 75 watt philips agro-lite plant lights ( attached on floor pointing up in between the crop to help brighten lower branches).
18 inch oscilating fan
ionic air filter from wal mart i think with carbon filters and a ozone generator.
Emergency blankets on the walls for reflective
They have now been in the closet for about 4 weeks and are all almost done stretching already. Well The g-13 is the tallest coming in at 5 foot 3 inches amazing to me how big these got so fast the extra veg time is sound for larger plants thats fo sho.
