Veg room/Flowering room

When it's time for me to start flowering, I plan on just turning my veg room into a flowering room also. Im just going to move my flouro's up and put in a HPS. Is that going to be a problem? How far away should I have the HPS during flowering? Is cool white fluro's and say a 100watt HPS, a good combination for flowering? Thanks dudes and dudettes!! YOU GUY'S ROCK FACE!!!

you will need more than 100watt hps the more light you have the better and you need to keep hps about 8-12 inchs away, i wouldnt mix the two lights the floro has a white spectrum and hps has orange you need the red/orange for flowering, also 400watt is closest to natural sun light. i run a 1000watt and a 400watt hope this helps man gd luck

You can always use the floro's as supplemental lighting. A lot of people prefer a mixed spectrum to just red during flowering. That's what the enhanced spectrum bulbs do.

You can do it with a 100w hps, I know plenty do it with a 150w and my setup is only 250w. It all depends on how much weed you need.
