Veg/Soil Question?

I'm searching the site for answers to some questions I have but am not finding results. So looking for answers and 0r@least direct me where to go to find info. Question #1 - "How do you distinquish between Seedlings and Vegetative Phase? I was thinking that Vegetative state was the whole grow up till time to Flower.

2nd - I started off and am currently using Farm Fox Seed Starter(light warrior) and am using General Organics 'Grow'(nutrients) - Is there a need to switch soils if using nutrients? Coz I heard that you shouldn't switch soils but if I could I would like to switch to Farm Fox Ocean Forest after it's a month old.

i generaly consider my girls to be out of seedling phase when they have at least two full sets of leaves. then they get transplanted into a different soil mix.
if you just transplant into a larger container you wont have any need for veg nutes for at least a month sometimes 2-3 depending on type of soil used.

Really good info you just dished out "Faldikar", very much appreciate it. I honestly was thinking about that, how won't need to much nutrients if decided to switch to a more mature soil with higher nutrient levels. I'm deciding to switch my soil and pot when it turns exactly one month, it's good for now....
