veg stage smell

i was wondering..while in the veg stage do they suppose to have a weed smell because while looking for any pest my nose caught a stinch and i was like woah what does that mean?? can males still have that weed smell?

My plants stunk in veg stage and now in flower dont smell at all!!! haha, its all just dependent, If I want to smell i have to rub the leaves to get that sweet sweet smell.
If I could bottle it and sell it as au-du-ganja ,then make millions.
