Veg time and yield

OK SO MY UNDERSTANDING IS VEG FOR ABOUT A MONTH LIKE 12" TALL AND SWITCH TO FLOWER THEN. THIS WORKS I KNOW. BUT WHAT IF A VEGGED UNTIL 24" TALL AND THEN SWITCHED. I DID 12" THIS TIME AND ONLY USED HALF THE TALLNESS OF THE ROOM. IS IT BECAUSE THE LIGHT DOESNT DO GOOD DOWN THERE OR IF I DO THE 24" VEG. WILL THIS INCREASE YIELD?:weed:

it can vary b/c some people can say 12" & its a sativa but an indica is usually half tha size...

but usually veg. time from seed IMO should be at least 45 days up to as long as you want

also, tha longer you veg, tha larger the yield as long as other conditions are optimal...

Prob. Need to add some cool running cfl on the lower end where the light cant really get to if i wanna increase yield right?

i compensate when growing indicas and sativas by putting the sativa in a smaller pot compared to the indica,ill get the pot size right one day

i dont use cfl's but i know it can help as supplemental lighting(assuming you have an hid)...try using mylar or aluminum foil to try to make tha most of your light(s) if you dont want to top or fim

My hole entire room is poly 4x4x8. Got a 600 watt hortilux. Need something down there though. I just wanna bigger yield next time

how close do you have your lights???

if you can keep a good eye on them and keep your lights just outside of burning the nodes will be closer on the plant giving the plant a higher yield.... what do you use for nutes on them as well?

vegged these ones for 5 weeks then switched to flower..... one of them was 21" when I switch, and I outgrew my space so I ended up tieing it back..... that's the one in the first pic

I do keep my 600 hps air cooled really close to the babes. Just outside of burning tips. They are 75-76 right on top of main cola's. Though that one in your pic that u said u veg longer does look like its longer and bigger girth.i went all organic botanicare and some other organic like superthrive, hps roots, honey es.

I haven't done much in the way of nutes in these ones... I ran outta my tea :'( but tonight I will be gettting some more :D then you will see a turn around on these ones *the yellowing should pretty much stop and I should be able to bring some of them back to green (crosses fingers)*

I've only really watered with molasses.... I have a pretty strong fan blowing on them since they were seedlings that's why they are so thick... I also have an 80cfm bathroom fan for exhaust.....

they get taken care of really well :D they my babies :D


I'm sitting at about 27C/83F

I know a master gardener ;) I've got a special tea that they make up for me...... adds all types of micro organisms and nutes :D..... I've seen a difference to a plant in
30 min after watering... this stuff is crazy


That and you can't over do it with this :D ;)

I don't know :P I am going to be marketing it for them....... when I need more people to use it and send in results I'll let you know ;)
