veg to flower transistion

during my veg, my lights are on at 8am and off at 2am (18/6) how would i go about switching it to start 12/12...I want to be able to put 12/12 on a diff start time...what should i do. do i need a 24 hour dark period first?

Nope , just crack on with new light schedule , the process can take 1-3 weeks depending on strain , your small alteration will not matter, good luck.

Agree with Clonex ... any way you want, so long as you stick with whatever schedule you choose. Interim dark periods are not proven to provide any benefit afaik. In this chilly weather I'd run the lights at night. cn

You can do it as we speak just make sure you do it on a timer or on a schedule you can keep manually
