vegging

ok, so i was planning to veg for 8 weeks or more because i would love to have big buddy plants, i have lots of time to grow, and im gonna do some lst to control some height. but i was wondering, do u think 8 weeks will be too long? cuz from what i've read on here, most people only veg for 3-5 weeks. will i end up with big monsters that are hard to manage? i dont know exactly what strains im growing, i ordered the indoor mix from bcseedking, but i will assume that they will be mainly indica. does anyone have any stories of overgrown plants that they vegged too long?

they will be big bitches, no doubt. If you have plenty of horizontal room to move and keep them low you might get away with it but otherwise I hope you have a high ceiling

I am going to do a vertical grow next. My last 2 have been scrogs with lots of topping and LSTing. You can go to flower at any time you want. It will depend on your height restrictions. I have an 8' ceiling in my flowering space and and going to veg until the clones reach 18"-24". You can count on the plants growing 2x-3x their veg size during the flower cycle. If you top and LST the plants you will be able to knock off much of the height and still be able to get a really good yield if you plan ahead.
