Ventilate at night & Sealed during the day

I'm building a room in the basement of my new home. With proper flooring, wall, ac/heat, insulation etc. I will be utilizing Co2 of some kind whether its a tank or a burner.

What do you guys think of having ventilation with a carbon filter running at night when the lights and co2 shut off. Possibly a couple passive intakes with filters (screens or hepas) and one exhaust/carbon filter. 10x30 overall space.

You did not contribute to my thread whatsoever. I am not building a house. I'm building a room. I have researched the cost of everything from head to toe. From upgrading the electrical to running the electricity to the rooms. This is a 8k watt setup in a 10x30 room

Now back to the question at hand. When the lights are on it will be a sealed operation. Co2 and climate control from a mini split.

Should I use ventilation when the lights and Co2 go off?

I'm gonna be running Co2 when the lights are on. Exhausting with the lights on will just waste my Co2 enriched environment.
Basically its not to control temps. Its to bring fresh air into the grow space. A lot of people use a sealed room with Co2 but does any ventilate at night?

2 types of rooms, sealed or not. if you run c02, no need to vent, plants produce oxygen. The reason a open room brings in air exchanges is for fresh c02, not oxygen

I think you should spend less time masrurbating to grow gear and read some basic botany books.

But I digress, venting at night does serve a purpose. It helps keep the pesticide industry alive as people spray tons of shit on their plants because they have aphids, fungus gnats, powdery mildew, thrips, and mites in their flowering plants. Gee? How did they get in there? Couldn't possibly be because I feel the plants need "fresh air"? Because the air smells like plants?

Harsh? Yes. Deserving? Also yes. Growing 101 dude.
