How close can you put a Inline vent fan to a 400 watt hps before the lights heat is to much for it?i will be pulling with the fan :joint:

Yes you can. Can fans are the quietest and the best.

Do you have it hooked to a air cooled hood or do you just want to run the venting fan as close to the hps as possible?

Max operating temp can vary somewhat between various makes and models of fans. what does yours say?
