Ventilation for a Co2 setup????

Hello everyone. I am a fairly new grower, have had a few good grows but I know I can do better. I would like to add Co2 to my system but dont wanna waste the money if im just wasting Co2. Here is my problem.... In my bloom room I only have 1 exhaust. (my room is surrounded by brick and that's the only one I could fit) I have my hood, portable a/c and a dehumidifier all venting out that exhaust. Being that its almost winter I could disconnect the a/c and not vent the dehumidifier (could use the heat soon) and easily use co2 without wasting it but what about the summer time

I just added CO2 to my grow tent but its a homemade system, I have 1 Liter of water, 2 Cups of sugar and 1 Tablespoon of yiest with a twin bullbe air lock on top. Also 2 smaller ones, 2 half a liter bottles with 1 cup of sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoons of yiest.

I dont wanna run co2 with my fans on. I can easily turn all off but 1, My a/c. It only has 1 vent out the back and it has to be ran outside. So after my light I hooked up a tee and connected one side to a/c and other branch goes to inline fan that exhausts outside. I cannot hook a timer or controller to my a/c because its digital.

Are you running a portable AC single hose?? It will just suck all your co2 and exhaust it out.

Correct you dont need to vent. Your plants eat the co2 and release new oxygen. I have a can fan and carbon filter on the floor to scrub whatever stale air is floating in the room. The plants do the rest. You really shouldnt be exhausting anything.

That portable a dual or single hose? from the looks of it you're gonna be pumping a lot of odor out the exhaust if its single hose. Nice I might add.

Also i have read and read and read some more about intakes and outtakes, Negative pressure and sealed rooms. And I understand none of it. Im still in my first year of growing and like most noobs (I assume), I am having a problem keeping temps stable during different seasons without tearing apart something and redoing it. (costly) I am hoping that someone can give me some ventilation tips. For example: In veg I do not have any intakes or outtakes. In my bloom I have a chimney that I heard I can utilize but don't know how. (do I just cut a hole and attach a fan?)

If you don't have a dual hose portable you're pumping room air/odor/co2 out the exhaust. soon you can just pull cold air from outside. I can't wait for this time myself. still running the portable.

odd, portables have a 6 inch exhaust and I don't know how it even works with you reducing down to 4 inch and running everything thru that.

Its a single hose, and yes it does put odor outside. Not too worried about that at this point, (cool neighbors and im legal) But all my walls are brick in my basement, only got the 6" sill plate between brick and floor from upstairs. Means I can only put dryer vents outside unless I vent thru the ceiling up thru the kitchen, which i have thought about. lol Problem with dryer vents is that they stick out like sore thumb and I already have 3 on my house. 1 dryer, 1 bath vent, 1 bloom vent

You will suck out all your co2.. if you are running Co2 in a sealed room the only thing you should be exhausting is the air you are pulling from another room to keep your light cool.

you may be able to modify that ac to pull air from another source over the coils to cool them, you could possibly do it with a cardboard box (sheet metal would be better) and some flex. here they started fining for odor, mainly big commercial grows.

for real, and soon you can kill that co2 /odor/power sucking ac and just pull in frigid winter air, assuming you have that where you are.

also about the timer turning on/off the ac, I read a thread where they modified some LG portable so it would come on and off with a timer, was a thread by someone that knew there shit, you give them the model and they'd tell you how to bypass the power issue.
