Ventilation Problems?

Here's my grow set up and was wonderin if i'll be needing venting. The light im using is 400watt HPS lighting a garden 3 foot X 3 foot with an oscilating fan going in the room. ok...the main growing room with the fan is 11X10X8 (880 cubic feet) with a doorway with no door hinged up. On the other side of the doorway (exiting the room with plants) with no door hinged up is another section 21X12X8 (2016 cubic feet)- this larger section has a closing door which MUST ALWAYS be closed (security reasons). Just checked the temp (70F/21C) and humity (70%); so shouldn't be a problem.

Would u guys suggest venting considering this large space?

If so, i've thought of hinging up a door in the doorway of the growing room, installing an exhaust fan at the top and cutting a passive intake near the bottom; would this work or not?

Should work yeah, you shouldnt need to air cool a 400 watt lamp, but an outake would def. help you out. Vortex fans are the best ones IMO

that humidity is going to call you problems in flowering. the potential for mold and/or bud rot are greatly increased with high humidity like that. prover ventilation would help to alleviate that problem. have you any pics? we like pics :)

Folks always get confused about this. There are two types of 'venting' required for good plant growth. One is the venting necessary to keep a room from getting too warm because of the heat from the light. The other is to take the 'stale' air out of the room and bring in new 'fresh' air.

I have a room that is about the size of the big room. I have an inline fan that will exhaust the air from the room every three minutes. It take the co2 depleted air out and I have passive intake to replace it. This part is not about temperature or humidity. Its about 'FRESH AIR'.

Probably. Wtih that large of an area, I doubt it is sealed up so well that you wouldn't get any 'fresh ' air. Eventually all of the space will smell like weed and be humid. It will smell 'stale'. VV
