Ventilation Question

Here’s what I have:
2x2x4 Grow Tent
150 watt HPS
6” fan sitting inside
4” computer fan exhausting air from a bottom hole in the tent (temporary)
4” carbon filter/fan from HTG (on order)

Currently with the light on and the tent closed up it, the temps get up around 90-96 which is way too hot so I leave the tent open while the light is on to cool it off which seems to do the job, the temps drop to 80-85 when it is open with the light on.

So my question is with the new fan from HTG will it be enough to cool the tent when it is closed with the light on?

No I don't, I was going to mount it up high in the tent and have it extract air out through one of the ventilation holes at the top.

heat rises, why do you have it on the bottom? aim a small fan at the bulb its self if you don't have an air cooled hood!

i would suggest getting a sealed hood and run ducting from the outside to one end of it, and then run ducting from the other end of your hood to the exhaust fan which pushes out of the room.
