very beginning of flower, how BAD does transferring affect growth?

I got a headband clone at the sf cannabis cup, soo she's a little over a month old now and I jus started to see white pistils forming today. She's about 2 feet tall and still in the same 1 gal pot I originally put her in. I was hoping to transfer her to a 5 gal pot I have waiting but I wasn't expecting her to flower til after next week. I know transferring her will cause her to undergo a bit of shock which slows growth... but how detrimental is this delay really to overall bud production? could you just flower a little longer to compensate or do the thrichomes age regardless of the bud growth? I don't want the pot being too small to affect bud growth but I also don't want to shock the plant and potentially lose my harvest lol. shes been vegging outdoors and I'm gonna start her under a 100w Blackstar led next week soo her environment is gonna change too. so what's worse? lol any advice would be very appreciated, thank you!

dude i've transplanted with virtually no shock, if your careful and gentle with the root mass, she will be fine, don't overexpose roots to light and air, and it would be best to transplant into the same medium that your already growing in to lessen the risks of shock.

fashooo yea I have a full bag of the same exact soil left. since I'm movin it from outdoors to indoors though do you think I should transfer it before or after it's already been under the light for a couple days?

i think i'd let her get used to being under the light a couple days and then transplant. its up to you though i mean honestly like i said if you are very gentle with the roots and just get it done quickly without overexposure to light and air, she probably won't stress. what i do is go ahead and the get the pot i'm transplanting into all ready to go with soil and a hole, then tip the whole pot upside down while holding the base of the plant stalk, then gently pull the pot off so your left with the upside down plant with the root mass intact, then just gently place her in the new pot and water lightly

i recently had to replant my girl at over 1 month into flowering. I was very worried about causing to much stress that late into flowering but all said and done i didnt notice any stunting or stress of any kind. Actually within about 3-4 days i noticed she looked much healthier and had more turgor to her leaves......In the end i think she thanked me for it

oh and btw, The last post before mine was the exact process i used. REMEMBER roots=buds

transfer it intelligently after you moisten up the soil, and you should have little to no shock, and it will grow alot bigger, i transferred a run of my Barney's Pineapple express autoflower at maybe 4 1/2 inches, and in a week its already a foot tall, the others are in larger pots and are close to 20 inches, bigger than the breeder states in the info for the strain, while the runt is the size described in the attitude seed information page.
