First time grower:
I've been growing in a store bought organic soil which seemed to have enough nutrients until now. My plant is a few weeks into flowering but leaves are turning yellow and I have the feeling all the soil's nutrients are used up and I want to add some extra nutes for the last few weeks of flowering.
Doing a little research, it seems like I need low N, med-high P, and high K. Can I just pick up any plant nutrients that have such a ratio? I'm looking at a 1-4-7 or 1-5-7 mix that's apparently meant for tomatoes / veggies. It's part of a line of products and says it should be used with the "Base" nutrients, which is 4-0-1. Are there any isues with just using the 1-5-7 mix without adding the high N base mix?
Any advice appreciated!
