Very very short clone

Hey guys, wasup, so i was doing some lst on my northern lights, went to get some dinner and came back to see that a branch had snapped off and hanging by a little piece was a droopy top. I tried to tape it but it didnt work, and the top looked pretty frikin droopy. I said fuck it, and i put it in a plastic cup with some water, i prepared the stem just likw you would for a clone and left it there. I Just came back home and the lil guy came back to life, its leafs look way better and its no longer as droopy. Do you guys think it could root? The clone is very very short. Let me know.
