VIPAR 2xA300 NEW LED Grow

ok so this data loss thing can go fuck itself stupid hackers third time posting this now yaaaay! haha , i started a new thread because the old one filled up with shit the specs on the grow are:

4x4x7 mylar tent

2 x A300 VIPAR LED UNITS each running at just over 300w at the plug and deliver 300w of true light power

6 girls 3 x rockstar(from clone ) 3 x bluebery(from seed ) all of them are in 7.5 liter airpots in coco

general hydro 2 part flora nova series , and green planet MASSIVE as well as koolbloom later on

like i said before VIPAR sent me these panels to test out and so far they are great i am on day 21 veg and growth is amazing , i have owned a magnum a chinese panel and a spectra 290w and the VIPAR panel is the best looking build wise and has done the best performance wise so far too , but there still a ways to go so buckle your seat belts and get ready for the ride.

the led lights have been rousing my curiosity lately especialy since power rates in my area just had an 11% increase it would be cool if you could post when & where & if these are available also the cost & maybe operating cost [ball-park figure will work] yeah im already bombarding you with demands im also gonna dig around & research some info on the leds this is the first time ive looked at leds in awhile but i can see theyve advanced quite a bit thanks for posting this thread

They do sell those vipars here, http://viparled.com/products/A300 nice units. 300 actual watts priced at about 350 with free shipping. That would be about $300. ( rounded off )

what up guys , yep the lights can be found at viparled.com as far as power cost depends on where you are man but heat is cut down alot compared to hps and the panels are just plug and play no ballast or shit like that. forgot to mention earlier that i used to be an hps grower but made the switch for many reasons and thus far i am not looking back.

Vipars are manufactured by Eshine, a Chinese LED company who also manufactures Advanced led units. Vipar does seem to be the most reasonably priced middle man so props on that.

Been looking into other Eshine made models so I'm definitely subbed for this one.

What is your ventilation and ambient out of tent temps compared to in tent temps? I also run 4x4s and would be replacing my 600ws just for temp reasons.

sup G , although they may look like eshine lights i dont believe they are you can inquire with vipar about that they will be glad to tell ya anything about their lights shoot em an email if ya got any questions. temps in the tent are averaging about 70-74 degrees and all i have for fans is a 400cfm fan running through my can filter out of the tent as well as a small air king my temps and humidity are great usually i wake up and temps are 70 with 50-60%RH and they maybe rise abit through out the day not much though.

im into my 3rd coco grow starting under t-5s & then to hps i would see no problem with coco under a led set up i also use gh-floranova nutes keep it simple schedule about time i see first buds i add floranectar [sweetener] which i discontinue after 1 week of the ripening dose ive used hydroton,rockwool,& coco as mediums & so far 70% coco 30% perlite has given my best results so far although im not happy with my current grow its the genetics that are the problem not the coco or the nutes if i go led coco will still be my medium of choice ill be closely watching your grow

hey curly the yield is what im unhappy with this grow last grow i grew some female seeds pure ak from clones along with sannies killing fields there wasnt a plant under 1-1/2 oz. with some over 2oz. [dry prime bud] here is some highlights from that grow the green bud is pure ak the blu/purp is killing fields i grow in 5-gal buckets filled with 8'' of co co with 1/2'' holes drilled into the sides of the buckets right on the bottom which sits 1n a 3x3 e&f tub with a reservoir on the bottom i generaly flood twice daily my current grow [the one im not happy with] is 3 strains john sinclair indica viper , gage green lemon stomper & my own superlemonhaze -x-jackberry cross my next grow is already vegging under t-5s & its gonna be 8 subcool ace of spades & 1 dinafem blue widow which was an attitude freebie i do most of my threads in the seed& strain forum but its kinda cool to come over here & see what the rest of the world is doing
