Hi guys im into my very first grow just wondering when to harvest the trikes are starting to look milky but i cant be sure-should I flush and harvest or wait a couple of weeks pics attached cheers

so when they start looking bronze/amber, but still most are cloudy (not clear) you could take a sample to see if the turns ok for you.
itll take a few weeks though... your plant looks quite dark, i would back off the nutes, esp. N

They look frosty, the hairs are brown and curling - but it's tough to accurately tell from your pics. Not close enough to see the trichs.
Stellar advice from Kassiopeija ... start testing small bits of the LARF. If you like the buzz ... start the harvest.

Just put a small hunk of LARF in your pipe and smoke it like normal. The first few times you hit it with flame, you won't get that much cause it is still wet. But it will eventually you'll get a good lungful as the LARF starts to dry out. It's going to be a bit harsher than cured bud but it will give you the effect.
If you like the effect, take her down and start the harvest process. If it's still a bit too "speedy" for your liking, wait a few more days then test again.

That should work. One day I'll will probably have to go the vape route. But with six different pipes that I have acquired from different places around this globe ( ... and my "one punch" that gives me two and sometimes three hits if I really pack it good and firm ... ), I still like the dried flower and the BIC lighter method.
Old habits die hard, I guess?

2 days ago I nearly ordered one, thinking mainly health reasons.... but, I donno... small expensive thing that doesn't hit hard, even higher mainentance.... I couldn do it.
Bong is also differently, they filter differnetly according to size or chambers, and each needs their own style and affects the taste or harshness of the smoke tremendously.

Yeah ... you find that the effects from a vape are milder too? Totally with you on that one. I've done many hits from my friends vape and felt ripped off. Excused myself and went outside to load up one of the pipes. Everyone's taste are different.
Have not owned a bong. One neighbor has the "Gandalf" pipe. Very large capacity bowl with a pretty long stem. You can take a real big pull on that one and all is well until that last 1/2 pull - that's when the coughing starts. That pipe hits you like a ton.
I should get one of those Hans Landa pipes - the really large ornate one that Christoph Waltz used towards the end of the opening scene in "Inglorious Basterds". Looks like it would hold 7 grams - now that's a bowl!!
With 6 different pipes (1 wooden bowl, 2 Onyx and 3 metal), 1 one-punch and two joint rollers (1 single wide/70 mm and 1 1.25/79 mm), I'm not in any hurry to switch.

yeah for me bong is perfect because its cold smoke. sometimes I load ice yeah I dont like anything scratchy down my throat being a nonsmoker...
in smoke is stuff which is still unknown. burning carbons is just one hell of a chaotic thing. thats why pure nicotine is nowhere near adictive than tobacco smoke.
maybe thats the same with weed too?

Oh yeah. His is not quite like Ian McKellan's in the movie - but getting there. With the long curved stem and pretty good sized bowl, when you take your pull on it (and if you do it outdoors when it's cool) you can't really feel the smoke so you don't think you've finished the toke until your lungs are almost full ... then you realize you are finished your toke. And then it does hit pretty intense.
Personally, I don't find smoking weed addictive. Makes it tough to type on a keyboard though ...
I was a 3/4 pack a day cigarette smoker until one day some 23 years ago when I decided, along with a friend, that we were going to stop cold turkey. I had pretty good withdrawl for about 6 months. It lessened gradually until about 1 full year after quitting.
Once I was over the withhdrawl, I began daily use of ganja. On several occasions over those years, I have left for 2 weeks to 1 month at a time and since I was crossing borders, have not traveled with weed. During those times, there was never any "I gotta have a toke!" like there was for those 6+ months with cigarettes. I don't find this stuff addictive.
Makes it tough to focus on a keyboard though ...
