Hey guys, I just got a 6 inch vortex s-line fan. I got an ipower filter to go with it and a speed controller for brushless fan. I hooked it up in an unorthodox style for the first 2 days because I had no ducting but a steel 90.
It worked but was a little more noise than I wanted but still quieter than my previous exhaust. So I went to the hardware store and bought 10ft of insulated ducting because it was only 28 bucks and hooked it up, man that made a big difference. I was able to take the filter out of the center of the room and hang it along the side and duct into the fan 2 feet away hanging on the end right next to vent hole then duct it out.
I will eventually put pics up hopefully I have 7 plants about chest height in 5 gal containers, 3 Bubba Kush and 4 white widdow. Those bee-hautches have my 4x6 tent almost too full.
I am wondering if any others on here have the s-line fans and if they do what do you think of them and how long have you been running them, any problems or anything? I know they are expensive but in my experience you get what you pay for. Hopefully it holds true here Cuz $400 for hangers the fan filter and controlled is a bit....no alot expensive, I could a built a new light with that cash, hope I made the right decision.
