anytype of coir is fine I just dont recommend reusing after harvest just make sure you know how to PH correctly and if your treating it like soil you need 10% runoff each time if you doing a drip system just keep it PH'd my recommendation 5.6-5.8

Also watch your PPM's (Parts per million) when using coco because it is unforgivable 5 ML = 175 ppm 10 ML = 350 if you have a shot glass with those measurements.

Indica's usually want to max out at about 1600 PPM's at its peak week of flowering sativa's can take on a couple hundred more but should never be taken over 2000+

Thanks dapio....i just wanna get away from ffof cuz it has to much flucuation and i also heard many good things bout coco. Not only that but i think once u start growing you tend to " wanna get more involed" with your plants and i think thats a great way of "LEARNING" what different strains like. I only have sunshine "fine" coco coir were im at. So just wanted to no what works best...thanks

make sure you mix with perlite or something similar if using the "fine" coco. it has a tendency to kinga clog, quite hard to get air to the roots after that.

sunshine mix is great try the #4 OG which is sterile peat moss perilite and a couple types of dolomite lime which makes it acidic ( plants like in soil) by the way the person that said, " it doesnt matter which coco" is miss informed it does... you want to make sure that it is low salt coco the ones from shrelanka ---cant spell are the best.
