Wash Perlite?

I'm using Perlite on the bottom of my fabric containers. About and inch for air and drainage.
Do I need to rinse it first?

Rinsing perlite is more for removing the dust that might clog a hydro pump.
Some perlite comes with nutes. Id rinse that...
