Waste Disposal

So I want some ideas on how you urban growers are disposing of your waste trimmings, used dirt / media, empty pesticide / nute bottles, etc.

Obviously you can compost the trimmings but for the indoor urban grower having a big stinky pile of plant trimmings in the yard isn't a very good idea. Flushing down the drain is just asking for a clog, and putting it out with the rest of the trash just isn't very smart.

I was thinking of loading it into trash bags and tossing it into a businesses dumpster (like behind a home depot or walmart) or even finding an apartment complex and tossing it in their community dumpster. Problems with this are 1. you need to drive somewhere with it which if you get pulled over and the cop gets nosy could be real bad. 2. A lot of businesses and apartment complexes have cctv monitoring the premisses. So if they find a trash bag full of marijuana in their dumpster they might take a look at the video and see you dumping it.

So what is a safe effective way to dispose of waste without getting caught, how do you do it?

This pic has nothing to do with this post but its fun to watch.

I have to start off by saying I love the pic! I mean... I REALLY love that PIC! Put them in those heavy duty contractor 55 gallon drum bags... It's a pain in the ass when the fucker splits open when you lift it out and you have fan leaves, stumps, nute bottles, hydroton, root balls and shit rolling around on the ground when you are trying to be stealth.... I DO NOT leave a trash can with the liner in to put shit in as I go.... I did this once and thank god I notice the wife threw a bunch of junk mail in it.... That is as good as GPS to your OP... I just pile the shit in boxes and when I am ready I throw it in the bags... I know whats going in the bag... There are alot of dumpsters out there... I try to mix it up a little.... people that constantly get dumped on sometimes try to find out who is messing with their trash and their dollars they pay for service.... I once went to a place with a bunch of warehouses... I could smell the midication in the air and sure as shit their Grow Op shit in the trash.... NO BUENO! They were shitting were they slept.... I dont go around there anymore.... I am lucky... I live on the coast and there are dumpsters all the way down the highway that are emptoed on Monday and Friday.... always room at the inn!

Do you have a cover story or something in case you get pulled over with trash bags full of weed, I would think the smell and a giant trash bag would be pretty tough to explain away to a cop if i got pulled over.

Use the heaviest duty contractor bags you can buy, and black Gorilla Brand duct tape.

As I'm harvesting, when I get a decent size pile of stems, leaves, etc., I put it in one bag and tape it good. Then I put these bags into another bag and then another bag, taping all of them. Then you can put it into a box with no markings and put it in another bag. All bags are double tied good. The final bag I add a little of the tape to the "handles" of the bag so I know which of my trash bags are "evidence" and which are my regular trash.

The tape is important, its black color is the same color as trash bags, a bag might look funny with shiny silver tape on it. It's also the most heavy duty tape in the world. I'm not kidding, Gorilla products are serious. We once put a huge 70 pound bumper on a car with only Gorilla glue, no bolts or anything.

I dump the bags in a huge garbage dumpster at an apartment complex. No cameras or anything. I don't dump if the container is full or empty, and I make sure my bags are in the middle. When the garbage truck comes, my "evidence" doesn't fall out the sides or anything. It gets crushed in the middle safely and securely on its way to the dump.

I've lately started using nitrile gloves so there are no fingerprints. I use 100's of them anyways when I'm harvesting so why not?

If this seems excessive, it's not to me. It costs me maybe 5 dollars per harvest.

I'm far from paranoid, I just try to stay safe and I consider my trash probably my second biggest risk. After a while, growing gets pretty routine honestly. One day I want to write a book about it, but maybe I'll just post more often here lol.

Oh, and my wet trim leaves left over from bubble hash are so "blended up" that I just flush them down the sewer.

I just save up all the stems and shit in a trashcan(takes me about a year) and when my trashcan becomes full I dig a hole in the back yard and bury it.

I like the idea of using the nitrile gloves and making sure your "package" is in the middle of the trash pile. I dont think flushing the bubble hash leaves would be a good idea though especially since most urban growers share a common sewer line and any blockage or plant material will look VERY suspicious.

I tried to dry out bubble hash leftovers and it got all PM all over it and I was worried it would spread so I put it in a trash bag and let it sit for a while, when I opened the bag it was pretty gross.

When I'm done with bubble hash there are no leaves. Its just greenish soup.
