Water after transplant?

I have three seven week old plants that are in small containers and I am going to transplant into my 5 gallon containers. I know that the fox farm soil has enough nutes in it to not do anything but water for a week or so. My question is immediately after transplanting do I give them a good watering?:-|

Yeah, I normally give them a regular watering to be sure to get around the edges as well as the center. No food on the first watering. After that I stagger and let dry between waterings for the most part.

Dont add nutes for ATLEAST 3 weeks maybe even 4. Trust me you will burn the shit out of your plants if you only wait a week. And yes give it a good water when you transplant. And make sure the soil your transplanting in is prewatered before you do the transplant.

I don't water after I transfer. Usually the soil I am planting into is still moist and the soil my plant is in is nice and moist. So watering would just hurt more than help.

I would have to say it really depends on the difference in size of containers and if your new soil is dry or moist still. If go from little herb pots or cubes and transfer into like a 3gal or 5gal pot then I wouldn't water because there is plenty of water in soil straight out of a bag. If you are going from a 3gal to a 5gal then you might give it some water since there will be much more dry soil than wet.
