Hopefully they are alright.I have had great luck with my chiller actually! The other day I lost power to my entire cooling system (a/c, fans, water chiller) but not my lights. It had to have been 100 degrees in there when I got home and got it turned back on. The temp on the display on the chiller was 92 and within 30 minutes it had my 15 gallons back down to 65!
The other part I was worried about when I bought it was the heat output. It didn't make much of a temp difference at all as I have a window unit in the room.

Similar things have happened to me as well. Fans dying, stupid power bar shorting out (I wont use them anymore), AC quitting., etc.
It seems like everything that isn't industrial made fails within 2 years at 24/7 operation. Probably why I like expensive things.
You should look into a thermal cut off switch for your lights. Theres multiple options you can do this with.
I use gavita lights with a el1 master controller, but there are much cheaper options.
