water question

after adding my nutrients and everything the water kinda smells funky after 2 days. not bad just really weird. is that bad?

and the other thing is does it matter if the airstone is upside down? that may be a factor in the smelling i think.

It isn't good but may not be too bad. The airstone should be right side up, use a suction cup and a paperclip to keep it anchored. I'd read that article then decide whether you need to throw away that nutrient solution and start again.

It depends on the nutes too. If you are using any organics then it will be stinky...but kinda good stinky. At least in my experience

Well my stuff is not stinky. I use only the finest Pro Blend I think is the name of the stuff. The fella at the hydro shoppe said to buy it when I tole him the Fox Farm stuff was too high. Come to find out it was all twenty bucks. Everything in the place is twenty bucks. I got a good one (Hab) thriving in the AG using the stuff. I just trying to look for penises and such thangs. It tole me tonight to add water and nutes. Dang them thangs are smarty pants huh?
