Water = Tap vs. Distiled

I have used Distiled in the past but buying it is so ridiculous its expensive and never comes in big amounts. i would rather just dump some tap water in there I need to hear what you guys think im going to be using a hydro system next so theres going to be a lot more water around them watering them every day so what do you think just keep the ph level right or should i test more things in the water?

depends on you taps ppm.. i hear most prefer tap over distilled but RO over all.. i know distilled as an ultra low ppm but lacks minerals where tap has little minerals and is usually under 250ppm..

I use tap, and let it sit overnight for my soil grow, with no problems.
It's more likely a bigger issue with Hydro though.

I use tap water for my hydro system. I don't even bother to let it sit out and haven't had any real problems. The problem with distilled and RO water is that they generally lack micronutrients such as calcium. This would require you to use additives to correct slight deficiencies which would not be present if you used tap. If your tap water is less than 250 ppms, you should be fine to use tap water.
