hello! i am growing in Sunshine Advanced Mix #4. it is a coco based soil. a soiless medium, basically its a soil set up that i can treat like hydro. i need to know... i go to the vending machines to get the $.25 water. sometimes i get them fresh in the store and pay the extra $.50 and they come sealed. the machines have R/O water and the 1gal jugs are R/O water. i have not tested the PPM, but i want to say they are roughly the same. is this water the watering i should be using?? i know this probably sounds like a stupid question 7 weeks in, but i need maximum results. and so far, eh...not so good. i highly doubt it is my water. i test the PH after every nute mixing, well since i bought my meter, and it is between 5.8-6.1. that is what i was told to keep it at for my medium. but is the water i am using the correct water? should i get a PPM meter too? i will eventually, cant this month though. am i watering with the correct water????

You can use plain old tap water, When using RO (reverse osmosis) water most people need to add extra Ca/Mg to counter the purity of the water, where as tap water usually has enough minerals in to just add the coco specific nutes and feed it.
