I was looking for an answer on how much you guys think is an adequate amount of water per plant per day or week. Im going to be growing in the ground in the aussie summer where the temperature reaches about 25 - 45 degrees celcius. I am getting a self watering bag, called an eco bag (http://www.ecobagindustries.com.au/). Is 1 litre per plant per day enough? Or is it more around the marks of 20 litres per week?
Im thinking of doing one litre per day for two weeks then emptying the bags on the second week to give them a treat of an extra 6 litres. Or if i can change it to leak 2 litres per day would that be enough?
any suggestions would be helpful
