watering

people told me i shouldnt water every day my plants are 1 and a half weeks old and i water every day what do you think

Welcome to the forum. I think you need to buy a mopisture meter and use it to tell you when you need to water. Overwatering is a tendency among us neewbies. Using equipment save us a lot of grief. VV

under lights small pots dry out fast. It is reasonable to water some times everyday if the lights are drying out due to heat.

How big of a pot are you using? and if you stick your finger 3 inches down in the soil, and it's dry, you need to water. If not, wait a day.

I'm growing outdoors and I water every three to four days. You're growing under lights so it may need to be more frequent, I'm not sure, but I know every day is too much. Weed plants prefer dry soil rather than wet soil. My plants were weak looking when I kept the soil damp, but now that I water them less they look much better. You can check how dry the soil is by sticking your finger into it an inch or two, don't judge from the surface. Also, the roots could possibly rot from alot of moisture.
