Okay heres the deal. I had 4
(automaticAK crossed with Lowryder #2) growing under a 250watt hps.

Something random happened and they all started to bend over and die.

Now im left with 1 Plant that is growing great by looks. Its day 7 since it popped.

I want to knwo how often and how much I should water it. because i cant afford to just lose 100$ i need this plant to get to harvest.

basically heres my Question

How MUCH(exactly) and how often should I water her?

I read that I should soak the entire pot until water runs out the bottom but i dont want to drown the plant.

she is sitting in a 1 gallon pot. and my 250watt hps light is about 16 inches above her.

get a moisture meter or check the soil with your finger when the top 2 inchs are dry water bigger plants need watering more often just go by how wet she is if the soil is still wet leave her be and water when its dried a bit

water running out of the pot is to much, like the guy said, if you stick your finger in the soil and its dry about an 1 1/2 down then its time to water other than that don't worry about it.

u want to make sure that the water is getting all the way to the bottom of the pot so ur roots will grow good and strong. So yes water til water comes out the bottom of the pot. Just make ure you only water when it needs it...first 2 inches are dry or when you stick your finger(up to your second nuckle) in the soil you don't feel any moisture. then water. hope that helps

and a long as you have good soil with good drainage it is nt overwatering them by letting it run out the bottom. Thats really the only way you'll know the water is getting to the bottom.

Defititely what chunk said. You must water all the soil, if you only water the top the roots will actually grow UPWARD. You don't want that. Water til it comes out the bottom and not again til top 2" are DRY.
