So way back when covid first started I won the photo of the month contest (march I believe). I recieved 4 different strains from chuckers paradise seeds. I finally have a chance to run some and I am going with watermelon zkittlez x floozy. Figured since it was the first thing I won on this site I'd run a journal to say thanks to @genuity and show them off. Just dropped the seeds in water today. They will be growing in a 4x4 tent with 4 qb96 elites running up to 640 watts. I will be growing in soil using the remo nutrient line. Can't wait to see how things turn out. Have heard good things about chuckers paradise. Any suggestions along the way are welcome. And off we go!20201223_130023.jpg

Coming along nicely. All pretty much the same size at 1st transplant. Can't wait to see some crazy growth now. They should blow up now after transplant. Always gets me excited lol.

I've never seen the drop them in a cup of water trick sounds like a better idea than the papper towel trick, so how long do u leave them soaking for?

So here we are at first LST. Plants look lovely. Happy with the way its going so far. Hoping they are all ladies as they were regular seeds. Never topped a plant before because I could never bring myself to do it lol. Was gonna do one this time.........but again I just can't bring myself to do it lol. As I will show along the way you don't need to top to get a bushy plant with an even canopy.

It was water day today and I assumed that was why my plants were looking a little sad. Turns out they needed a transplant so I potted up. Growing fast.

Top them!! It will increase your yields!! You’ll get more branches that way and more bud! Don’t be scared!! It’s really easy and the plants love it!!

These "ladies" are growing quite nicely. They are training very well and are responding to it amazingly. I decided I would top one of them. Middle left has been topped. We shall see.

These ladies sure love their training! Still not sure about the topping. Its the smallest plant (obviously) but has no more topps than the others. And now the main cola is gone. We shall see.

What a week! Furnace was down for 2 days in -40 temps. Had to pull my heaters out of my tents to put in the bedrooms. Plants were unhappy.......I was unhappy. Finally doing much better now.

They look so good!!! Topping is defiantly the way to go but get comfortable with it and try not to cut the whole tip piece when topping. Try to cut through the thickest part of the peaking new tip bid. I’ll send an illustration for you later. Great job again on the plants friend!!

Last 2 day in these pots(pics from yesterday). They are showing signs of being rootbound. Was hoping to get a couple more weeks as I only have pots big enough for 1 more transplant so it will be their final home. Prolly will flip to flower next weekend then.
