Wax Noob Question (Exgo + Wax)

Hey guys, got a quick question..

Sorry if I sound downright ignorant asking this.. usually I stick to the "flowers" but the 'e-cig' hobby of mine has always had me interested. I made a pg+bho mix and was dripping that on coils. Works pretty good. Then I decided to just get an exgo to just vape straight wax/oil

I've used nails and stuff before, which completely vaporizes the wax. But with my Exgo, I pack some stuff in and then go to town. A couple puffs later, I'm left with a very very thick, dark brown, sappy/sticky residue. I'm not sure if this residue has anything left in it to get me buzzed, I usually scrape it out simply because it has a very plant-like taste to it.

My question is... Should I continue vaporizing this sappy residue? I'm usually pretty buzzed by that point so I cant tell the difference, I just avoided it because it tasted too planty.. but then it dawned on me I could be wasting 'wax'.

Let me know, sorry if this all sounds moronic or half baked.

I can't answer your question directly because I do not make or use BHO.

With RSO, any leaking or any drippage, leftovers, or whatever, I will just wipe it up with my fingers and eat it. No waste :D .

Anyway, the unit you speak of looks a little awkward, bulky, not very stealthy. It would stick out in public for sure. You may want to try one of these, and you may even like it better.

The UP Tech original KISS cart. They work absolutely perfect with a Smoktech Magneto mechanical vaporizer. The titanium KISS works better with variable voltage electronic vaporizers. These are the only two units I have tried for vaping the oil straight that I really like.

The KISS carts that I use are meant for the 3.7V Persei vaporizers. Persei and other manufacturers use 601 threads. I needed it to work with standard 510 threads. My favorite e-cigg shop now sells an adapter to make it possible. the 510 to 601 adapter. https://highdesertvapes.com/products/510-to-601-Cartomizer-Adapter.html

Up Tech did a really good job in making the KISS cart. The original KISS, it is almost like it was designed and meant for a mechanical vape.

The lower boiling point constitutes vaporize first, so the pool becomes more concentrated with CBN. I prefer a two or three hit skillet for that reason.

The larger ones all ended up tasting phenolic at the end, mostly because of the higher boiling point components that are in fact phenols.

All the e-skillets I've tested, eventually get messy, so plan on spending time cleaning with alcohol. I usually just carry several pens or carts preloaded, so as to not have to deal with loading and cleaning on the fly.

Yeah, the KISS seems pretty similar to the exgo, just smaller. Both have a ceramic cup with a coil. Exgo looks natural on a mech mod. By stealth I just meant quick dabs, no torch + rig. So my question still kind of stands.. Am I wasting this dark sappy goop? Or is it proper of me to scrape it out?

I'm new to these epens with wax also. I don't know for sure, but I use a thin tool to see if any solid wax can be scraped out, if there's really not much to scrap I soak the atomizer and glass globe in either Everclear or isopropyl alcohol. It cleans them up and you should be able to reuse them for awhile. After a awhile you'll need to replace the atomizer. Hope that helps.
