Depends what's in your home. Lot's of web pages out there with extracts instructions. Most of them involve butane and are quite dangerous. I would stick to rosin pressing with a hair iron for a newbie. It's hard to kill yourself that way and simple to do.

Probably cheaper to drive, buy gas and hotels and go buy some than to set up for safe wax run. Unless you wanna detonate the house with a case of butane.
Rosin press for x2 the $ amount worth of Concentrate vs wax and you can say it is solventless....

Yes, when we started in 2005, that was all we had. We expanded on those processes and it led to some of the more equipment intensive processes, more capable of supporting volume.
The bigger question might be what should you start with, given a limited budget and resources???????????
First and foremost, I recommend that you not use any process that you don't have the equipment and facilities to do safely and correctly.
As has been noted, Rosin pressing requires low equipment investment to achieve dabable results.
Ethanol extraction would be my second choice, reserving LPG extraction for last, because it requires the most equipment to do right.
If you have any volume to process into quality concentrates, I suggest LPG as the cheapest per gram for high quality aromatic, tasty, and effective extracts, but after acquiring the proper closed loop equipment, as well as vacuum post purging capabilities.
