As topic says..
I was told waxxy leaves are a sign of too much food...the leaves on my plants are velvety rather than waxxy
Is this a strain thing?

Anyone able to put me correct?

Cheers, Phat

untrue myth. very dark green leave are a sign of too much nitrogen. claw is also a sign of too much nitrogen. other toxic symptoms include burned tips, yellowing to browning leaves and leaf drop. the velvet you describe are tiny hairs that are designed to slow down transpiration and excess moisture loss. so velvety is good:)
