Please re read my post, kilo plus are outdoors or in greenhouse. Indoor you can grow plants in the 1 pound range scrogged in a 4x4 pattern.

Just check out an episode of Mendo Dope! And that is commonly grown all over the hills by thousands of growers in Northetn Cali, Oregon, Washington State and BC . It’s no different her in BC, you can get climatized seeds from Kootney seed co and many others that will grow a kilo outdoors.

I used to live in Coastal BC, actually you can grow better weed in the interior where I live now. While the temps are a bit warmer on the coast, they get a lot more rain which combined with frost is a big problem growin outdoors. I live in the Shuswap area. We have a huge lake that goes East to west so all the hillside is south facing. This is the Mendocino of BC. Because we have shorter seasons we need weed that is acclimated to our area. And if you want BIG plants you need to extend your growing season by starting indoors and using poly tunnels or greenhouse. Yeah as for you central and Eastern Canadians - I feel for ya I really do. But Some of my buddies have been growing SOG because they do it in confined spaces and get pretty big hauls! Others do the 4x4 single plant method and get slightly bigger hauls per square foot. I don’t flower indoors because my family doesn’t like the smell. So no I don’t grow to completion indoors.

But I just read the thing from health Canada, it states you cannot sell your weed to anyone that isn’t the designated medical recipient? Right? And the maximum number of recipients is 2 right? That was Health Canada page asbof 2016. So it may have changed since then?

The seeds for sale in Alberta by tweed are feminized.
FYI While its only legal to grow from licit seeds there is no way for anyone to know where those seeds came from! Under bill C-45 anyone can give anyone 30 licit seeds that they got legally. So even if your growing purple kush from crop king seeds all you need to do is say you were given them by a legal source or show a sales slip from a legal store.
BTW there is no age limit on buying seeds or clones under bill C-45 so your 10 year old can buy his father clones or seeds for his birthday legally hint hint hint!

Dude I live in the Okanagan but have never tried growing outside, what strains do you grow?
BTW I grow indoors without any smell getting into the rest of the house, just run a bathroom exhaust fan 24/7 70 to 100 CFM will do the trick. I also run a second exhaust fan of 360 CFM that kicks in when the temp goes above 25c if the temp goes above 27c the exhaust fan shuts off and the stand alone A/C, dehumidifier and heater unit kicks in.

There definitely is an age limit imposed by the provincial governments. It has always been illegal to purchase cannabis seeds and marijuana in Canada, but as the popo say "chances of a conviction are low" hence the hands off attitude in the past. Just try arguing that your only crime was germinating. This was clarified by good ole Bill Blair in a press release when he first got his Czarhood. Good thing that illicit vs. legal cannabis is a null and void arguement( ie the legality to gift and grow for oneself has removed the illegal/legal bit) when it comes to the plant material. I gotta say, regardless of what the press and gov'ts focus on, Canadians (Ontarians mostly from my area) are "over it". There ain't no big issues public healthwise, or socially. Both sides have already met in the middle and really nobody cares except the corporate and criminal insiders. Adults don't care anymore whether they buy their recreational cannabis from the gov't mailorder (see entrapment hassle), First Nations illegal "herbal healing dispensaries", their neighbour, or their millenial twenty something kids. So while I'd love it to be legislated like TOMATOES, and grow 150 plants in my front yard, whining about a four plant limit and gov't creating a hit squad cartel (led by Tweed, lol) are just picking on the details. Mind you we need to nitpick so that the laws continue to mature to a best-for-most median. It is a great thing I voted for (only time in my life I voted liberal) and at 50 something, Selfieboy, regardless of any other mistake he makes, is the 1 politician who actually gave me something I wanted, and I am grateful. Anyone who has good working knowledge of gardening and cannabis plants can grow a 2 kilo plant no? Fuck its simple to pull a lb in a 25 gal. drum (setting aside pest seasonal probs) of dirt, you know this right? I suppose a lot of closet growers are gonna have to get their shit together before than can come out as loud and proud on the internet or get put in their place by the likes of ttystikk.
