ways to get rid of smell?

i have 2 plants, i only plan on letting them get to about 2.5 to 3 feet tall, i dont really want to go through the hassle of buying or making a carbon filter. any other suggestions such as a dehumidifier or ionizer etc? thanks, any input is greatly appreciated

you dont want to buy a filter but your willing to buy a dionizer? good ventalation and a few fans. will help. but not fix your delema

haha, idk, i already have an ionizer at my moms place. i didnt know if it would work or not, thats why im trying to get some advice. how much, roughly, would a carbon filter cost to build, and is it louder than a fan, i gotta keep the noise down

go get some carbon filter material in the same place you buy filters for your ac......this is how I made mine...with a bathroom fan. just lined the top part inside with carbon filter strips...you will need to replace the strips every week or two but should get about a month and a half out of one full filter

damn, i might just open windows and try and ventilate as best as possible. anyone grow on a second floor? does the smell travel downward at all?

Bite the bullet dont be a tight arse and buy a carbon filter or suffer the smell...There is no other way of discretly masking the aromour of your plants ...It amazes me that people want to grow but they dont want to do it right ...

you may be growing right but you are not venting properly...you are gonna get busted if you open a window...smell travels with the wind...and if you think an open window with flowering plants is safe then I haope you like to get it in the ass...cause you will end up in prison bro.

i have the plants in a walk in closet with no windows. they are only 2 small plants. where i am from, it is a misdemeanor if you get caught with 8 or less plants, bro so i dont think ill be taking anything up my ass. anyone with some input that doesnt feel a need to be a dick would be great. why do people get there jollies off on being smart asses?

whatever...enjoy your ticket...vent to the attic...and while you are at it go ask a cop what he thinks of your plants. you asked the stupid questions bro :blsmoke:wasnt trying to be a dick...just trying to make a point so you quit bein so fuckin lazy about your grow. BTW...I gave you some sound advice about filters back there chief.

your not wrong a carbon filter is just a piece of carbon that fits in a vent that takes heat and smell from the out take fan and filters it.all you need is a piece of carbon some dryer hose and a outtake fan. viola
