If I had the coin you better believe I would have a greenhouse,I can imagine the environmental controls,co2,fans,and harvesting when trichs tell me to instead of mother nature...someday I will make this a reality!

The hardest thing about a greenhouse in western Oregon is humidity. Mine gets to about 95% when I don't have all my ejection fans running (Well, between Late September and March) Adding CO2 would be a bitch.

I am planting 2 Exodus Cheese clones in mine, they finishes flower in mid September. I lost probably 30-40% of my greenhouse crop this last year due to bud rot. I'm adding a couple more fans and an EV controller this year. I am cutting the clones for this i a week or 2 and will have them in ground by April 1st.

It is Groudhogs day today... 6 more weeks of winter (at least for PA)

it seems like alot of us southern Oregonians have the mold problem in a GH as well. ive seen alot of GH for pot growing and not one had roll up sides or lardge sliding doors. we have a 100 ft by 40 ft green house that stays cool just by opening the doors and rolling up the side, we do grow veggies theri but we also have no mold humidity is still at about 50 but it works.

also breeder theri is a well known GH maker here in rogue river that sells a 10 x 30 for 600 ( well built and wont blow away) and a 20 x 40 for a lil more, they cost less then it takes to build one of the same quality.
i think the prices and sizes i listed are correct but now i have to double check, i will post the link he has if you would liek

I like hoop houses, they are my favorite.

My greenhouse is about 50x30 and completely enclosed (like a hothouse). So, there's only 2 doors but 2 -24" gable fans and some osculating fans in there, I wish I could roll up the sides come late September. Nice thing is that it's 35* out now and it's about 65* in there right now (yes the sun is shining!) and the temps in my area never go over 90* during the hottest part of the year. Also, I'm in a canyon and the winds are nice all year long.

$600 for a 10x30 is crazy awesome!

Oregon Valley Greenhouse...20357 Hwy 99E Aurora Or. 97002....503 678 2700...but Greenhouse's will not work in the valley or down south..only in coast range and Mt range..gets to hot the other places...wait let me refrase that...you cant grow top shef out of greenhouses in valley or down south...gets to hot...but they work great in the coast range
ive seen alot of great bud grown in GH down here it does get hot. but some roll up sides and large double doors and some fans makes the world difference.

and im looking for the link right now

how about this warm and sunny weather we've been getting?

i was half-tempted to trim back the rose bushes and till the soil! but i am betting that we will get another cold snap before spring starts breaking.

can't wait for summer again!

i'm just excited to get out there again.

with all my trimming toward the end of last season, i had no time to really break down and clean up the backyard. so i have a ton of hay, dead corn stalks, leaves, and even the remnants 6 plants i grew last year. with the dry, cold winter, none of it broke down/composted into the soil like i was hoping for, so i have to remove it instead of tilling it. plus i have weeds galore, the greenhouse (in scraps and pieces), and a ton of trash to get rid of. huge job ahead of me, but i love getting some color in the sun while i exercise (work) so i'm really looking forward to it.

if i end up staying in portland, you need to come over and help me trim this time! i'm not making the same mistake this year of doing it myself...21 days in a row working up to 14 hours a day sucked.
