Wedding Cake Herm Issues!

Hello everyone long time lurker here finally make an account. Been growing on and off for 13 years and for the past 4 years ive been growing commercially indoors for myself and one other partner. I run 85 lights spread out between three properties. All of the environments are dialed innnnn. So the issue is the last three runs ive had herm issues. First run was Paris OG: Caught it way too late and they busted everywhere, final product noticeable seeds yield was a pound a light
Second run: GG4 Caught the balls early before pollen drop, ripped em off and sprayed constantly after that, yield was 1.2lb a light
Now here i am currently with wedding cakes and id estimate out of 1,350 plants total i found maybe 10 plants that threw one or two balls on the underbranches.

My main question is: Given the instability of these genetics is it safe to assume out 1,350 plants that i should expect, even in optimal conditions, for a small percentage to throw a nut out here and there? I feel like im taking crazy pills

Yes it’s not you it’s the genetics! At your scale it’s definitely risky running unstable genetics it better be fire lol if you ever decide to change it up be really picky! There are breeders out there that focus on stability and have genetics that will not hermie even with stress. One off the top of my head is Mass Medical Strains and I’ve heard good things about CSI Humboldt and Katsu seeds. These guys are breeding correctly for stability

I had a feeling lol. I was like there is no way my environment could be doing this. If i did have a stressful environment id expect to see alot more balls on alot more plants. Given my scale of operation i really cannot do seeds. I need healthy rooted clones ready to go. dont have time/space to veg out seeds not to mention cull the males.
