Weedburn's Microgrow Stealth grow, Very confined space.

I will be growing in a 1 foot by 1 foot confined space. I'm using Cfl bulbs. My seed is in a cup and will sprout soon. This is my second grow, my first was done in a small
rubbermaid tub in my closet which wasn't very stealthy and I had to harvest early due to family reasons. & I was using about 140w cfl light and was about a month or
so into the flowering stage & only got a quarter ounce of dank. Which was really good but it could of been way better yield wise etc if i waited longer. Anywayss lets get to the point here, this grow i may plan to use SoG and grow maybe 4 plants in there to increase the yield a bit but idk. I may also plan to use a single pot to grow one bigger plant. Anyway i had hooked some lights up in there to test it out temperature wise, lets just say it got very hot in there 90' & that isn't very safe. which then decreased to 80-82' i guess that isn't too dangerous. I do have a question for you guys, Would I be able to use less wattage in that area & still get good results due to how the light's being utilized? Cause honestly i'm pretty paranoid about the temps. Here's a picture of the grow box i'll keep you guys updated.

as for how many plants id go with one in a shallow container the size of the bottom of the cupboard

One thought, I've been playing with the idea of LEDs to enhance my cfl lighting, and came across those LED Strips, they're sticky on the back, and would take up so little room that they might be worth a thought.

I've done a tiny bit of research, and it looks like the '5050' lights don't put out much heat, but the brighter ones can put out a fair bit.

Anyway, just an idea.

Anyway you could get a smaller fan to maximize space? A small computer fan maybe. I'm subbed.

From what I experienced with my micro atx computer case grow which is about half of that size (14"x4"). I used one 40w 2700k cfl for flowering and the plant was really happy, turned out as a male but it grew surprisingly well. so maybe in there use one cfl from the top (6500k for veg switch to 2700k for flower) with some of those led strips as side lighting to increase canopy penetration. This will probably result in the biggest yield out of a small space because you are very size limited in the beginning its all about bud density and size which is increased with direct light. also look into a small computer case fan like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835352001. its 4 CFM which means it would refresh the air in your entire space 4 times per minute and would definitely help your temperature issue for ~$10 its a cheap fix.

The seed is still not wanting to germinate, may be a dud. So i threw another in the cup & hopefully i get one sprouted here soon.

Yes Liddle infact i have a small plastic tub exactly like you're talking about. It takes up most the space on the bottom, but still enough for it to not be dangerous.

I would use 4000k or 5000k for veg. 6500 is just too much blue by itself and probably will make it stretch like crazy.

yeah those strips of leds are cool ad he makes a good point in how little room they would take up
