Week 2 Flowering, not much happening. Help. Pics included

Hey everyone
I'm pretty new at this. But I've learned everything I need to know so far from you guys. Seriously, you guys have been a HUGE help.
But here's what's going on right now:
I'm in week 2 of flower (day9) and not too much is happening. They're both female for sure, but all I see are just a few hairs. And they started to show 1 week before 12/12.
I dunno...please check out my pics and let me know if everything looks good or not.

ps...I know I didn't include ALL my grow details, so feel free to ask.

Whiteberry Strain, Paradise seeds

just give it a while, some times they wont full start to kick in till like 2 weeks, in the next 6 days your going to see a lot of change. they may stretch alot more too, just bewarned

They already started stretching a few days ago. I was wondering why, because I adjust my lights once or twice a day. I'm getting excited

yea i was amazed when mine went into flowering. Within the first 2 weeks of flowering they had already doubled in size and since then have almost tripled in height. Flowering makes these girls do some wonderful things. :-) Good luck to ya!

How long did you veg them for and under what lighting? (18/6, 20/4, 24/0, etc.)

Sometimes when vegged longer the plant fully matures and preflowers on her own

Good luck, they look good to me :leaf:

I vegged for 3 months. I have the space if they want to grow tall.
I vegged at 24/0 for the first 2 1/2 months. Then made a semi-gradual change to 12/12 in the last 2 weeks. All I did was start off with a 1/2 hour of complete darkness a night, until I reached a maximum of 4 hours. By then it was only a few days of 20/4, until the 12/12 switch.

Get more warm lights, or take out a bulb or 2 to make it dimmer to help flower more
Take out a bulb or 2? Right now I have 12 6500 cfl, 5 bright white all spectrum, and only 1 blue daylight cfl.
What exactly do you want me to do? I thought more light was better?

plants flower more when there is change in the light... change something. Get more warm 2700ks or remove the blue light. flowering needs red spectrum or else it's just going to flower half-assed

I only kept the 1 blue spectrum cfl because I've heard they like both spectrums. It's only 1 bulb out of 18

yeah the blue is good, but the bright white is almost the same thing.... you need some warm in there :\

your plants look good, I'm just saying if you want them to really blossom, it needs red spectrum

You got a nice grow and set-up...I grow from seed to harvest using nothing but CFLs, currently in my 3rd run at the moment.

A few suggestions, one is w/CFLs you can mix the spectrums of kelvins, 2:1 ratio is the best or two 2700k to one 6500k, that will get ya fat nuggets, see my journal... Also those gals are going to stretch for another 5-6 weeks until the bud, "cola" starts to ripen...

Flowering day-count starts when you see white pistil hairs, 10-12 days from the time you switched to 12/12 light schedule, once you see the hairs, that is day 1 of flowering, not when you switched the light sscedule...

Also when you do see the hairs, switch your light to 14 hours off, 10 hours on or 14/10 light schedule, you'll get tons of trichomes...good luck

So I have two different opinions from two different guys here...
One says the flowering cycle begins when I change my lighting to 12/12
The other says it begins when I see the female white hairs.
Whats going on here...???

Can I have some more info in the 14/10 schedule. Should I have already started this? When do I stop? Remember I am on day 10 of flower. Well, 10 days since I switched to 12/12

Ok, the plants take about 2 weeks, sometimes alittle less before pistils hairs show, thats the beginning develop of the flower....that is day 1, other growers will start the count at the 12/12 light schedule switch, which usually in thier grow journals they bitch because they figure thier bud should be ready, where it's not, because I always ask when did u see pistils??? If they journaled it or logged it, I tell them count from the days of the hair... Change to 14/10 when you see hairs, day 1 of flowering otherwise. Hoped that helped

Thanks for the advise.
For how long do I use the 14/10 schedule? A few weeks, or until they're done??

you grew these with just cfl's? very nice. how many grams per plant do you average?
Also, by looking at my plants, do you have a guess on my yield?
