Week 3 flowering, buds browning

image.jpg image.jpg I've grown outdoors for 4-5 years now and have never experienced something like this before. I got 2 plants from the same dispensary, same strain, same age. One plant is doing very well, looks good for the most part, the other is not looking so great. The buds basically look mature already and the leaves are curling. The one curling is in "organic" soil, the other is in a coco mix. Both in smart pots. Both get same amount of light and water. I don't PH my water. I don't use any nutrients. See pictures and let me know what you think.

It's definitely 100% russet mite infestation. You can actually see the mites in your pic, the brown is actually due to insane amounts of mites covering your flower.
Move your healthy plant away and burn this one with a torch or seal it very well in a trash bag and move it as far away as possible from you.
heat will kill them. 120F for 1 hour or find an organic spray to keep your other plants clean.

Russet mite broad mite. Nothing organic will kill them ..besides D.E

Depending on stage of growth: Heat, neem, essential oils, grandevo, predator mites, wetable sulfur, spinosad, pyrethrine, enzyme cleaners....etc.
The key is 100% coverage of the plants at a sufficient interval to break the lifecycle of the mites. That's why atomizers work so well.

You're too far in for wettable sulphur!! I used it up through the second week of flower.. flushed the leaves with a week foliar feed and COLD water for 10 days then switched to Green Cleaner.. Nuk Em is good too.
Hit them hard and fast, daily until you can't spray anymore without risk of rotting the buds then release Californicus and Andersoni predators.
It's about your only hope to salvage a harvest.
